Still Alive

March 15th, 2009

I know I said this a month and a half ago but everything is still being worked on. Unfortunately, it’s just taking me a lot longer than expected. The site will be fully up and running soon though, I promise.

Apologies

January 22nd, 2009

I’m sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been busy lately with several things online and off.

Currently, I’m working on the layout for this site. It’ll probably be a couple more days before it’s up so updates will continue to be slow until then. I just ask that you have patience with me until the layout is up.

‘Twilight’ Star Robert Pattinson Drops Out Of ‘Parts Per Billion’

January 6th, 2009

In the massive wake surrounding the record-breaking box office of “Twilight,” Robert Pattinson mania has swept through Hollywood and made the charismatic Brit one of its most in-demand young actors. His busy schedule has put him on magazine covers and had him touring all over the world and making public appearances to rioting crowds.

Now, however, Twilighters have one less place where they’ll be able to find their beloved RPattz: on the set of his next movie.

MTV News has exclusively confirmed that Pattinson is dropping out of “Parts per Billion,” the eagerly anticipated indie film he was scheduled to begin shooting in Los Angeles this month. Although co-star/producer Rosario Dawson had expressed enthusiasm about working with the “Twilight” heartthrob as recently as December 16, a representative for Pattinson confirmed that he is no longer involved.

“What you heard is correct,” the 22-year-old star’s agent, Nicholas Frenkel, replied to an MTV News query Tuesday (January 6). “Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on ‘New Moon’ haven’t left enough time for Robert to work on ‘Parts per Billion’ in the first quarter of this year.”

The news is sure to sadden Pattinson’s army of fans, who have been tracking the development of the film for months and were eagerly anticipating his reportedly steamy love scenes to be shot with actress Olivia Thirlby (”Juno”). The ensemble film, which tells the story of several different lives being impacted by the same catastrophic event, will now need to quickly recast the role if shooting is to remain on schedule.

Pattinson’s fans might also be interested that his rep cited the pending “New Moon” shoot as the actor’s reason for having to leave “Billion.” With that much-anticipated “Twilight” sequel not scheduled to get cameras rolling until March, it now seems highly unlikely that RPattz will be able to squeeze in a movie before he returns to the role of Edward Cullen — leaving his fans with only “Little Ashes” and “How to Be” in the can. Pattinson shot both films before his “Twilight” breakthrough.

Robert Pattinson has never been in love

January 3rd, 2009

Robert Pattinson might have won many hearts with his portrayal of a lovesick vampire in the hit ‘Twilight’ but it seems that love has eluded the young actor in real life.

Pattinson admitted in an interview to a (UK) magazine that he has never been in love. “I’ve never really fallen in love, but I try to be as romantic as possible,” the young star confessed.

The actor who is being touted as ‘the next big thing’ also admitted that he was turned down by many women before he rose to fame with ‘Twilight’.

“About a year ago, I’d talk to girls and no one would be interested and I am not that good with dealing with loads of people,” said Pattinson.

Despite his rising star status, the actor said he was not interested in being a part of Hollywood’s party circuit. “Most of the time, going out is a complete waste of time. I’d rather stay in and create something than go out.” When asked about what kind of women he finds attractive, Robert said, “It’s being unreadable. It’s attractive in women as well, that kind of mystique. It’s so obvious, but so few people do have it, especially in characters now and in modern society where there’s so many celebrities.”

Rob Pattinson: Ed Cullen’s Amber Eyes Drove Me Crazy!

December 31st, 2008

The eyes supposedly say it all, but “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson says he had a hard time expressing any emotion through character Edward Cullen’s amber-colored eyes.

That’s because he was forced to wear tinted contact lenses to affect the look.

When he reprises his vampire role in the hit film’s sequel, “New Moon,” it will not be without some pain, he reveals, because the lenses sorely irritate his eyes.

Rob has already signed a multi-million dollar deal to play the character again in the franchise’s two sequels that will be filmed through 2010. Both are also based on Stephanie Meyer’s cult book series.

But there is one aspect of the character he’s not looking forward to. “Wearing colored contact lenses… It was like I constantly had sand in my eyes,” he said in a recent interview with the OK magazine in Great Britain.

“I was wearing them for three months constantly and my eyes never ever accepted them! It took me 20 minutes per eye every single day and I ended up having to literally fold it into my eyeball,” he adds.

The “two orange blobs” in his eyes, he says, curbed his ability to act, because he couldn’t properly use his eyes to portray his character’s emotions. “It was frustrating as well because normally your eyes are saying something, but if you’ve got two orange blobs in your face it’s so annoying.”

“The director (Catherine Hardwicke) would say, ‘Look at [Bella Swan] (Kristen Stewart) like you love her,’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m trying!’ I’m going to have to do it again because we’re making the sequel next year.”

According to critics, the chemistry between Pattison and Stewart on screen added an extra dimension to the film. Stewart says casting the hunky 6′1″ Pattinson was a stroke of genius.

“Not to put down any of the other actors who came in [to audition], because they were really good, but everyone came in playing Edward as this perfect, happy-go-lucky guy,” says Kristen. “But I got hardcore pain from Rob. It was purely just connection.”

New Moon hits theaters in November 2009.

Robert Pattinson Sticks Up for Heath Ledger

December 30th, 2008

Taking offense to a rude comic’s jokes, Robert Pattinson took a stand at the No on H8 show at The Improv in Hollywood a few weeks back.

According to an Us Weekly report, the 22-year-old teen heartthrob booed a comedian who said, “Here’s my impression of Heath Ledger,” before falling to the ground while faking convulsions.

“Robert and his friend went nuts yelling at him,” a source in the know told Us Weekly. “[Pattinson screamed] f–k you! You suck!”

Despite the “Twilight” hunk’s noticeable shouts, the comic surprisingly failed to recognize that he was being booed by one of the world’s hottest young stars.

The insider added, “The comic didn’t know who it was, but I’m sure he found out later!”
